Puri finds fault with Mahesh Babu
Puri Jagannath was one of the top directors in Tollywood few years ago. Of late he has been struggling with a series of flops. Despite bagging a hit with Desamuduru, Puri is not up to the mark post Pokiri. After shattering all the records of Telugu cinema with Pokiri, Puri lost his midas touch completely.
Puri Jagannadh says that this Mahesh Babu film is the reason for his failures now. “People are simply comparing all my movies with Pokiri and writing them off. Now I regret doing that film. If not for Pokiri, I would’ve delivered at least five to six hits by now. Pokiri doesn’t happen all the time. Even me or Mahesh Babu can’t do it everytime,” he said.
Not only Puri but also Mahesh is suffering post Pokiri. He is yet to register a hit after that. Puri and Mahesh jointly would break the jinx may be. They both are teamed up to do Businessman movie which will hit the sets in August.
Kajal replaces Shruti Hassan in The Businessman
Kajal, who is riding high over the back to back successes of ‘Darling’, ‘Brindavanam’ and now ‘Mr Perfect’, she seems to have become the darling of Tollywood directors and producers. Besides doing films opposite Naga Chaitanya and Ravi Teja (in Veera), now the actress has replaced Shruti Hassan in Puri Jagannath’s ‘The Businessman’ starring Mahesh Babu. Yes, it is true! The director is soon to take this film on the sets. He said this in a recent interview given to one of the leading news channels. Well! Which heroine wouldn’t like to be paired with a hero like Mahesh Babu, and Kajal is no exception!
There are high expectations for this project as it is coming in the combination of the hit pair Puri-Mahesh. It’s an action packed film to be produced by Dr Venkat under RR Movie Makers. So all eyes are set on these hit machines! Let’s wish this team ‘All the Best’ for their project.
The business man
The Pokiri duo is back. Prince Mahesh Babu and debonair director Puri Jagannath were back together again with another new film. It is known that the duo’s Pokiri has set new record collections at the Box Office.
Now, its official, the new film of Mahesh Babu and Puri, is titled as “The Businessman” and filming of the movie will kick start from July.
The producer of the movie is Venkat and it is produced under the banner of RR movies.
